Department of Children's Services...yes, that's my home...j/k. I just work there.  I am know working in Robertson County DCS, I've been there since November 16, 2006.  I was at Davidson County DCS from August 14-November 15.  I absolutely love it.  As of December 12, 2006 I have been in the Sexual Abuse Unit in Robertson County.  AKA: I work sex abuse cases, I work with the police on each of my cases.  My life has been blessed so much by the people I work with, my family, my church family, my dog-park family, and last but not least my PREDATOR HOCKEY family.  For the first time in my life I feel complete and believe it or not, there's not a guy in the picture! Amazing, huh?  Between church, work, predator games, dog park, cleaning house, movies, friends, food...my life is wonderful!  I hate to sound like I'm bragging, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am doing well and that my life is truly blessed.  On the worse day, all I have to think about is my babies that I'm working day-in and day-out for justice for the sex crimes committed against them and I feel better.  I know that I have food in my fridge, heat in my house, two wonderful dogs, a car to get me to and from work, and clothes to wear...life is good.

Christmas...Thank God for Baby JESUS!  Please, take time to remember how blessed we all are.  We have all been given life and with that comes the opprotunity to live life to the best of our ability and be there for those around us.  Gifts? There hasn't been one shopping trip yet for me.  Maybe this Friday when I'm not working...maybe.  If not, I hope everyone has a wonderful Merry Christmas!!!

P.S. Sampson and Jordan want you all to know that they are both "potty trained/housebroke" and are doing GREAT!!!  Oh, and if you come to the house, they require lots of love and treats!!!! lol.

Sampson got a brother this weekend!  His name is Jordan.  He's dachsund/min.pin and cute and heck!  Jordan will go to the vet. for the first time this afternoon, just to make sure that he checks out healthy and all.  Sampson went with me on Saturday to pick Jordan up from Happy Tales Humane in Franklin.  All I know about Jordan's past is that he was found on the side of the road by the pound, was about to be euthanized when HTH took him in.  He was at HTH for a month before I adopted him.  He's not quite housebroken yet, but I have faith he'll get there.  I'll post pictures of his cute little self whenever I actually get the time for such things.

Living in Nashville is still the same. I love my apartment and my neighbors are pretty cool too.  Most of them have dogs so no one gets annoyed when one of the dogs decides to bark or anything.

You guys all need to come by and see my new "pad."  The apartment is great, there's a lot of space everywhere except in the kitchen, it's little.   Sampson seems to like the place pretty well too.  The windows are low enough to the ground that he can hop on a box and watch me leave for work every morning.  I dont' think he would be able to handle it if he couldn't do that every day. lol.

So, single life is alright I guess. Not much has really changed except I feel like I've given myself more "permission" to look at other men.  I'd like to give a shout out to all my girl friends for helping me this weekend by keeping me busy.  We all need to hang out more often anyway, but you all definitely know how to step in when I need it most!

update:

PJ and I are officially no longer together.  The long distance thing was a lot for both of us to handle.  PJ felt like the best thing he could do for us was to break it off one last time for good.  Right now I hurt, my hurt litterally hurts, I don't know what to do or what to say.  All I know is that I move into my apartment tomorrow and I need to be able to focus for both work all day, then moving afterwards.  For those of you who really know me, you know that I love this man with all my heart and this isn't something I'll be able to just forget, I'm going to need time.  Everyone is probably thinking, "they'll get back together, they always do", unfortunately this time it's for real, we're done. 

So tomorrow I move, so far out of my furniture that I ordered, I have my two end tables, my mattress, and my dresser. I'm still waiting on my night stand and my bed frame.  My dad is going to bring up my living room furniture (couch and chair) sometime within the next couple weeks.  It'll be nice to have my own place and to have lil Sampson there with me all the time.

Well, this is it for now, i'm too confused to write anymore.
